"Tokay" (some folks call it a "Pakay" )- evidently you can get alot of $ for these lizards...wasn't really interested in catching this guy though right outside our room while in Bandung!
When we visited @ Pak Bandi's we got to see a mamma cat...was thankful for only 1 baby to take care of ;)

I didn't know tokay's were valuable. We had a resident one in our kitchen in our second place in BA and it laid eggs which eventually hatched, but we never saw the little ones. The noise they make took a bit of getting used to- and actually some of them had a pattern- I used to count how many they did in a row- I think the record I heard was at Sabang and was in the mid-teens.
